Answers to the most common questions about galvanized coating classes, thicknesses, pre-painted steel, delivery and ordering.
What is the minimum order quantity?
For stock items we supply from a single bundle (about 1 tonne) upwards. For cut-to-length and slitting the minimum depends on the size and is stated in the quote.
How quickly will I receive a quote?
We reply as soon as possible during business hours to requests that include grade, thickness, width and tonnage.
What is the difference between Z275 and Z100?
The number is the total zinc on both sides in g/m². Z275 carries about 20 µm of zinc per side and Z100 about 7 µm. Z275 is recommended for outdoor and roofing applications.
Which thicknesses and widths do you supply?
Galvanized sheets and coils are standard in 0.30–3.00 mm thickness and 1000, 1250 and 1500 mm widths. Slitting allows strips down to 20 mm and cut-to-length provides sheets in any length.
Do you provide quality certificates?
Yes. Mill and quality certificates are supplied with every delivery. Please state any specific inspection document requirements in your quote request.
Do you deliver across Türkiye?
Yes. We deliver quickly within Adana and the Çukurova region and ship to other provinces with contracted carriers.
Does galvanized steel rust?
The zinc coating protects the steel for a long time and provides cathodic protection even at scratches. The coating is consumed over time, so life depends on the coating class and the corrosivity of the environment. A painted system is recommended for aggressive environments.
What are your payment and delivery terms?
Payment and delivery terms depend on quantity and product and are stated in the quote. Open-account terms may be offered to regular customers.
What are the coil inner diameter and weight?
Standard inner diameter is 508 mm or 610 mm. Coil weight is typically 3–10 tonnes depending on width; smaller coils can be prepared by slitting.
Which grade should I choose for deep drawing?
DX51D+Z is fine for general forming. For deep-drawn parts choose DX53D+Z or DX54D+Z.
Which RAL colours are in stock?
We stock the most requested RAL 9002, 3009, 5010, 6005 and 7016. Other colours are supplied to order.
Will the paint crack when pre-painted steel is bent?
Not if a suitable paint system and bend radius are chosen. Highly formable polyester systems are recommended for tight bends; the T-bend value can be specified in the quote.
How thick is a sandwich panel?
Sandwich panels are made in several standard thicknesses. Thickness is chosen by whether the building is heated, the required insulation value and the core type; insulation increases with thickness.
What is the difference between PIR, PUR, EPS and mineral wool cores?
PIR and PUR give the highest thermal insulation; PIR performs better than PUR in fire. EPS is economical and light. Mineral wool is non-combustible and provides sound insulation; it is chosen where fire safety comes first.
What determines the price of a sandwich panel?
The core, panel thickness, skin thickness and colour, panel length and total area. We do not publish a price list; send these details via the quote form and we will give you a current price.
Is trapezoidal sheet the same as roofing sheet?
Yes. Trapezoidal profiled sheet used on roofs is also called roofing sheet. It can be galvanized or pre-painted.
What lengths is trapezoidal sheet cut to?
Trapezoidal sheet is cut to the required length in one piece. 3, 4 and 6 metres are among the most requested lengths; longer panels depend on transport and installation conditions.
What determines the price of trapezoidal sheet?
Sheet thickness, galvanized or pre-painted finish, profile type, panel length and total area. Send these details via the quote form for a current price.
What determines the price of galvanized sheet?
Thickness, coating class (e.g. Z275), steel grade, sheet size and total tonnage. We do not publish a price list; current prices are given as a quote.
