About the product

The trapezoidal ribs on the upper skin of a roof sandwich panel drain water and increase bending strength; the lower skin forms the interior ceiling. Panels are laid on purlins with side overlaps and screwed.

Choosing

  • Core: PIR/PUR where thermal insulation comes first, mineral wool where fire safety comes first, EPS where budget comes first.
  • Thickness: insulation increases with thickness; heated or cooled buildings use thicker panels.
  • Length: a single panel from ridge to eaves avoids end laps and leak risk; length is set by transport and installation conditions.

Roof sandwich panel prices

The price of roof sandwich panel depends on the core, panel thickness, skin thickness and colour, panel length and total area. Because steel and raw material prices change frequently, we do not publish a price list; current prices are given as a quote.

Questions about Roof Sandwich Panel

How thick is a sandwich panel?

Sandwich panels are made in several standard thicknesses. Thickness is chosen by whether the building is heated, the required insulation value and the core type; insulation increases with thickness.

What is the difference between PIR, PUR, EPS and mineral wool cores?

PIR and PUR give the highest thermal insulation; PIR performs better than PUR in fire. EPS is economical and light. Mineral wool is non-combustible and provides sound insulation; it is chosen where fire safety comes first.

What determines the price of a sandwich panel?

The core, panel thickness, skin thickness and colour, panel length and total area. We do not publish a price list; send these details via the quote form and we will give you a current price.
